Tobruk

In the morning we visited the Knightsbridge and Commonwealth War Cemetries then lost Kath to some shops selling animal skins or something in the afternoon. We actually had to go out searching for her after night fell and drag her out of a burka stall at the local livestock market.

We are now into our last night in Libya, it has been an interesting experience with spotless clean hotels at the end of some very dark and dirty alleys, where they let hoofed livestock wander freely over 2000 year old mosaics, where drivers can fit 5 cars abreast a 2 lane road.......at speed.
Tomorrow we cross over into Egypt and I am looking forward to a beer, Libya's roads would be so much easier to handle with alcohol. For me, not them.
